Description:
Amprolium is an anti-coccidial drug with activity against Eimeria
tenella. E. necatris, E.acervulina. The drug acts by interfering
with thiamin metabolism in the parasite. Sulfaquinozaline is a chemo-therapeutic
with bacteriostatic action against many Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria.
The coccidiostatic activity includes Eimeria spp. (E.necatrix. E.maxima,
E.acervulina, E.brunetti etc.) Less sensitive for sulfanomides are Pseudomonas
aeruginosa. Proteus vulgaris and Staphylococcen.
Indications:
Prevention and treatment of coccidiosis and bacterial infections in poultry.
Contra-indications:
Do not administer to animals with kidney dysfunctions.
Dosage
and administration:
For oral administration via feed of drinking water.
Poultry (curative):

Poultry (preventive):
50 g. of
COCTREAT wdp in 250 litres of drinking water,
during 3-4 days.
Mixed with feed the product should be used immediately. Medicated drinking water should be used within 24 hours.
